If you close your eyes and reflect back over your childhood, you can probably think of several damaging and hurtful statements directed at you by a parent, sibling and even a teacher.

* You’re nothin’ and you’re never going to be nothin.
* You better get out of my face
* You’re good for nothing
* You’re crazy just like your daddy
* You’re a lazy slob
* You ask too many questions, shut up and be quiet
* You’re too poor
* You’re too fat
* You make me sick
* You’re stupid
* You can’t do that Sally, you’re a girl
* You’re trouble

In the beginning it was words that brought all things into existence.

Life and death are in the power of our tongue. Meaning the words that you speak will either motivate, encourage, or assist someone in reaching their potential and dreams for their life “creation” or de-motivate, discourage, and stop someone’s dreams for their life “destroy.”

Negative words impress and imprint upon your subconscious mind producing fearful thinking, diminished confidence level, and low self-esteem. Positive words impress and imprint upon your subconscious mind producing faith, increased confidence, and healthy self-esteem. Affirmations help to impress and imprint upon the subconscious.

There are three compartments of the mind: subconscious, conscious, superconscious.

Subconscious: existing in the mind but not immediately available to consciousness; it is raw energy without control (fear, worry, anxiety). Old thought forms that must be destroyed.

Conscious: perceiving, apprehending, or noticing with a degree of controlled thought or observation (sickness, disease, death)

A Vicious Cycle

Superconscious: the elevated mind, the mind of Supreme Intelligence, the God mind within each man and in it is the realm of perfect ideas, the perfect pattern, the Divine Design.

Superconscious usually comes into your mind as an ideal that is too big to obtain….or too good to be true (life, health, love, perfect self-expression). Supreme Intelligence lives within each one of us and we are the channels for its expression. They are finished and perfect ideas that must come through you and not to you.

Carefully listen to the lyrics being read to you. Which lyrics make you feel good about yourself?

Words are like a magic wand, they can be filled with beauty, joy, peace, and life or they can be filled with hatred, violence, pain and destruction. Let’s look at the words/thoughts below. What part do they play in domestic violence, family violence and abuse?

Not only is your subconscious fed by other people’s words, but also your own words. By your own words you are justified, by your own words you are condemned. We did not know that words are a form of dynamite, and should be handled carefully, with wisdom and understanding. We hurled into the atmosphere, words of anger, resentment or self-pity, then wondered why life was so hard. We can be our own worse enemy (inner-me).

Whatever we put out comes back to us. We reap what we sow, in word, thought and deed. Whatever you put out you get back! What goes around comes around.

We write down every word of destruction and pull down every vain imagination that raises itself and we cast it into the dust heap rendering them powerless in our lives.

YOU MUST ANSWER EVERY NEGATIVE THOUGHT WITH A WORD OF AUTHORITY!

EXAMPLE
Thought: My money is low, I don’t know how I’d make it if I’d leave Joe.
Word: My supply comes from the All Mighty Supplier. All of my need is met.
There is no lack in me, there is no lack in my life.

Thought: If I leave him, he’ll surely look for me to kill me.
Word: I dwell in the secret place of the Most High. Though I may walk through
the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil. His mighty rod and staff
comfort me. The All Supreme Being’s protective rod and his staff
comfort me!

Thought: I can’t make it! I just can’t do it!
Word: I Can Do All Things Through The Inner Christ Who Strengthens Me.

AFFIRMATIONS

I put the past behind me, I release it and live for today! I live in the now.

I have missed no opportunities for my life. As one door closes another door opens for me.

I am healthy, wealthy, and wise. I am on the road to happy success.

I am non-resistant, at peace and poised.

I am anxious for nothing but give thanks in all things for all things.

I reject every negative word I have spoken of myself, every negative word spoken toward me, and every negative thought I have of myself.

I cast down every vain imagination that exalts itself against God and God in me.

I have riches, life, joy, and peace in abundance. No one can take them from me.

I let go of worn-out conditions and worn out things. Divine order is established in my mind, body, and my affairs. Behold old conditions have passed away and all things have become new.

I am blameless and will inherit what is good.

Divine plans for me are built upon a rock. What was mine in the beginning is mine now and ever shall be.

I march around my wall of Jericho: I believe the truth that has been said of me and the walls of doubt, self-hate, fear and anxiety come down. All failure, lack, boundaries, and limitations tumble away.
